Located right on the Three Rivers/George West line, the store’s name reflects its unique position, with “3” representing Three Rivers and “G” for George West.
With a well-stocked inventory of approximately 300 guns, 3-G Firearms caters to gun enthusiasts of all kinds, from hunters to fans of tactical sports. “If I don’t have it, I can get it,” Korenek proudly states, highlighting the store’s commitment to meeting customer needs. The store boasts a wide variety of firearms, including lever-action guns and modern sporting rifles like the AR-15. In addition to firearms, the shelves are well-stocked with ammunition.
What sets 3-G Firearms apart is its proprietary brand of gun supplies, including oils, cleaning brushes, and basic cleaning supplies. Korenek has collaborated with distributors nationwide to produce these products. “Prices have skyrocketed over the past few years. I’m trying to bring prices back down to pre-COVID levels to help all consumers,” he commented, reflecting his dedication to affordability and customer satisfaction.
With over 25 years of industry experience, Korenek began 3-G Firearms from his home in Three Rivers in 2019. The business expanded to a new location at 3776 US Hwy. 281, George West in 2022. This new location offers a spacious store with a diverse range of products.
For those eager to try out a new firearm, 3-G Firearms features an outdoor shooting range, offering 25-yard distances for pistols and 100 yards for rifles. Additionally, Korenek provides gunsmith services, specializing in repairing and restoring old firearms, whether for practical use or as cherished keepsakes.
